Family names in the Glens of Antrim
Coming in late spring 2021

Family names in the Glens of Antrim, a new book from Ulster Historical Foundation explores the historical and social significance of the family names of a distinctive region in the north-east of Ireland – the Glens of Antrim.
The area has both a strong local identity and a significant relationship with south-west Argyll in Scotland.
Drawing on many years of research, the author describes and explains the evolution of the historical landscape through an examination of the names of its people. Beautifully and richly illustrated, the book includes numerous surname distribution maps as well as photographs and other illustrative material.
Family names in the Glens of Antrim is sure to be a wonderful additional to any family historian’s research library and will help connect descendants from the Antrim Glens to the land of their forebears.
SUBSCRIPTION OFFER – ENDS 30 APRIL 2021
