We are delighted to announce the addition of 9003 new Kerry Roman Catholic baptismal and marriage records to our database at Roots Ireland. They are as follows:
- Firies RC baptisms, 1827-1894 (7963 records);
- Firies RC marriages, 1830-1893 (1310 records).

New Monaghan Records Added
We are delighted to announce the addition of 8388 new Monaghan/Clogher census substitute records dating from the sixteenth to the nineteenth centuries to our database at Roots Ireland! They are as follows:
- 361 Inquisitions for County Monaghan dating from 1591. These list the properties held by people in Monaghan upon their death.
- 1435 records from Book of Survey and Distribution for County Monaghan dating from 1641. These records list the landowners of Monaghan at the time of the outbreak of the 1641 rising.
- 833 records from Book of Survey and Distribution for County Monaghan dating from circa 1650s. These records list the landowners of Monaghan from the mid-1650s.
- 5128 records from index of wills for diocese of Clogher, dating between 1659-1857.
- 631 records from index of those who died intestate in diocese of Clogher, 1793-1821. These list people who died without leaving a will in Clogher diocese.

We are delighted to announce the uploading of 4524 new Galway census substitutes to our database at Roots Ireland. They are as follows:
GALWAY EMIGRANT INDEX 1829-1866 (2746 records)
This list, compiled by Peter Madden of Newcastle, Australia, documents the immigration of people from Galway to New South Wales and Queensland between 1829 and 1866.
PRODUCTIVE LOAN INDEX (1778 records)
The Irish Reproductive Loan Fund was scheme set up in 1824 to provide small loans to people who were termed the ‘industrious poor’. The records generally run from 1836-48 and are available for the following associations in County Galway: Ahascragh, Ballygar, Castle Hackett, Clifden, Kilconickny, Outerard and Galway Town.
